Is my Perception Pescador 12" suitable for the bay?

I just bought one this week. I will be taking mine out in the Severn tomorrow. Hopefully will be launching at Sandy point in the near future. Alot of guys on here have the same kayak and use it on the bay with no issues.

You didn't hear? A party boat was taken out by something on Thursday.....I'd steer clear of the area. JK but tend to any injuries you get I read that the water is very dirty otherwise I don't think anything there is out to get you.
