New to kayak fishing, need some tips

Hi guys, I am new to kayak fishing and this weekend I was planning on going to the Sandy Point State Park.
I don't have a high end kayak... just an eagle talon 12.
I took my kayak out to the susquehanna flats two times without catching anything!

Do you guys have any tips for me for this weekend?
Lures? Baits? Methods? Hot spots to fish?

I was thinking of packing some shrimp and blood worms for bottom fishing and trolling some fluke jigs.

Welcome to the site. A lot of info here, so I recommend you do a little research first.

Plenty of threads posted previously on this topic. Videos also. Under the boatyard section, use the "search thread" feature to research bay bridge or SPSP and you'll receive a lot of info.
