  • New addition to the family...

After much talk, I finally picked up my Torque yesterday! With a newly replaced rudder blade, and kill switch, it was ready for pick up. I also got to test out my inflatable rack system.

The Handi-rack system works really well. The bladders (two for each part) takes only about 20 pumps to fill using the supplied hand pump. You could use an electric replacement if you want...like the ones used to fill air mattresses. Once inflated, you secure the "racks" to the car via a strap that goes through the car. The kayak gets secured to the "rack" using the D rings that are pre-attached. I also used the regular bow & stern straps for transport. It seemed a bit tedious...but thats because I'm used to simply setting the yak on the roof on a bathroom mat lol.
