Due to the overwhelming success of this year's tournament participation and our online kayak raffle, we were able to postpone the impending rate increase from $60 to $75 until Sept 10th. Thanks again to everyone for participating in this great cause for our two charities.
So if you were on the fence about signing up, and thought that you missed your opportunity to get in on the $60 registration fee, well you are in luck. The $60 registration cost has been extended until September 10th. So hurry up and make your way to www.cbkainc.com and register before the rates eventually go up.
This year will be our largest turnout ever. We are currently at 92 participants. We will have another awesome kayak to raffle, oysters are being donated to the captain's meeting, an unofficial grass root potluck is forming after the captain's meeting to include Masgouf Rockfish Demo and cooking, shrimp, and other items donate by the participants, lots of raffle prizes, great captain's bags, and it is all for a great cause.
Remember, propane grills are allowed.
The preliminary weather report is looking good. Temps in the mid to upper 70's, wind on Saturday at 9 mph and Sunday at 7 mph. Your registration fee includes tent camping from Friday to Sunday...... Fish Friday, Compete Saturday, and fish Sunday morning.
