I've heard of Sandbridge, which is located a few miles south of Rudee Inlet. Yakers and shore fishermen have caught big stripers and reds off the shore. Do you park on Sandbridge Rd or Sandfiddler Rd?

Seems like you'd be somewhat protected by land from a SW wind, if the wind isn't too high.

Not sure where you're getting SW wind from, but everything I'm seeing is a NE wind:

Partly cloudy in the morning, then overcast. Fog early. High of 75F. Breezy. Winds from the NE at 15 to 20 mph.

There seems to be some discrpancy between the models. Weather Channel is calling for the SSW (trust them the least), and NOAA is predicting NE. The storm now looks like it will hold off for at least through Saturday, but the winds will def. be higher than originally called for. But, we're all gonna fish regardless, so in the end it doesnt make a bit of difference.

If the winds are bad on Sat, I'll probably hit Kipto, Lynnhaven or Rudee. Of course, a bunch of other yakers will too.
