  • Cold weather gloves?

Any recommendations on a tight fitting pair of kayak fishing gloves? I have a pair of rapala's (i think) but they are a too bulky

    Thanks

I use neoprene gloves from BassPro for late season fly fishing and the work pretty well. They have the retractable finger tip for tying knots. I've used the once for paddling as well.

I use the $ 6.00 ones from Bass Pro Shops. I can cast a baitcasting reel with these full finger gloves on without getting a back-lash.

Since they are inexpensive I carry about 4 pairs and switch out when they get wet.

I like my Seal Skinz gloves (http://www.austinkayak.com/products/...FUyd4AodVl4AHw)

They're thin and waterproof, but are not ideal in really really cold weather. I have neoprene gloves too, but they are too thick for my liking, so I wear my Seal Skinz and deal with the really really cold with heat packs.

I don't wear gloves when I am actively casting for pickerel in the winter. But I do have neoprene gloves I wear when paddling from the launch to my fishing spots. I had several pairs of inexpensive neoprene gloves that tore quickly. Last fall I splurged and bought NRS Maverick gloves. They are great. http://www.nrs.com/product/2454/nrs-...with-hydrocuff.

I use glacier gloves. By far the best IMO at keeping hands warm during the winter

+1 on Glacier gloves. I have the ones with the finger slots so you can poke your index and thumb out.

I had some sealskinz, but I seem to be missing 1 glove somehow. Now I'm also looking for a new pair. Do you guys know which model of Glacier gloves. I see a lot of different ones online.

Ordered some of the cheaper Glaciers a few days ago. Got the flip mitts and Ice Bay on the way. About 35 bucks shipped for both.
