The Torque is pretty sweet. There's a lot of real estate for mounting stuff. Does the Mod Pod work if you have the battery in the box? Did you decide against the Scotty triple holder?

Yeah, after my first trip I was able to see that the triple rod holder would not be suitable for me. I will do two flush base adjustable scotty holders (one on each side) just behind the cockpit. They will be able to swing around toward the front while I'm bottom fishing, or stay angled back while trolling. Fish finder will be mounted up front, as suggested by someone in my other thread.

When the battery is installed, that area is not good for anything other than battery storage. You can fit something extremely small, like hooks, rigs, lures that are stowed in ziplock bags...thats about it.
