Weems Creek on Saturday for 8am launch

Due to the windy Sat, I am going to Weems Creek since it is generally protected on windy days. It is a perfect place for someone new to kayaking. I plan to launch by 8am. My plan is to troll for rocks near the mouth and jig to see if any pickerels are around. I will also be testing out my cold water gear before the Nov M&G. Just let me know if anyone is interested in joining......

My father-in-law lives on / and trolls the Severn every morning enjoying the retired life. He has been doing really well in the main river, catching in the mid to high twenties. I might concentrate in the main river till the winds pick up late morning...the pickerel can wait
