Just Another Noob looking for advice..

First time you go to a meet and greet with your paddle yak, and all the Hobies pass you and go out of sight, you'll wish you had one for yourself. That's the very reason I got one, I thought I was happy paddling. Now my wife has an outback and we have 2 paddle yaks for guests.
Guess what I'm saying is you're gonna have a Hobie anyway, why not just buy it now.

I sort of see it like skiing vs snowboarding. You are going to get down the mountain either way. Just because some skier blows by me and beats me down the mountain, does not make me want to take up skiing. Even though I have thought about taking up skiing just to try something different, snowboarding has been good for me the last 25 years...and hopefully 25 more. Oh, and a lot of times it is me that is passing up the skiers anyway--I do enjoy going fast.

Plus, now that I'm thinking about it, is the pro angler really even a kayak? A paddle SOT is still basically a kayak in the traditional sense. But a pro angler is really sort of a small peddle boat.

I would agree that the angler isn't really a kayak.. But i'm fine with that, and i'm picking up my new one next weekend.

Nice, many people seem to like them a lot. Now you can concentrate on catching a ton of fish with it instead of thinking about which one to get.

I only paddled around 3 miles yesterday and my shoulders are definitely feeling it (and even a little sore from last weekend still before going out), especially the one that was reconstructed.
