I have a rare Monday off, and the winds look great, so I am going down to spend the morning and early afternoon at St Jeromes Creek. Anyone who is lucky enough to have Monday off is welcome to join me. Just send me a PM if you are interested.

Well, sorry to disappoint. I launched by 9am and fished the incoming tide and part of the outgoing. The water was calm and the winds were light. It was a beautiful day out on the water. I even ran into another kayaker later that morning. Unfortunately, not a single fish showed me any love. I did see some small rocks playing on the surface twice of the water inside and outside of the inlet, but nothing wanted any of my baits. The other kayaker was not getting any nibbles either. So, I trolled back to the ramp and was on my way back home by 1:30pm. It was a beautiful day, and I got some exercise, but the day was devoid of fish.

I had almost the exact experience at St. Jerome's that you did. I did manage to hook into one Striper, but in no way was it a keeper. That was yesterday, going again later in the week if the weather (wind) permits.Ocean Kayak Trident 15
