Thursday, 10/31 Sandy point state park, weather is going to be great!

If anyone is interested, I'm blowing off work and going to fish the Bay bridge. 9 am launch from Sandy point state park! Waves, wind, not looking like a problem. May be the last warm day for awhile. Anyone in?

Although I've got a ton of work to do, the boss sort of likes the idea of fishing on my birthday.

I would not be able to make it over there until after beltway traffic dies down a bit. We'll see, might be able to pull it off. Work to live...something, something, something.

Leave early, once you hit rt 50, traffic will be going to DC, you will be smooth sailing to the bridge....you deserve a break, you have been working hard, it will be a long winter! It's your birthday! Carpe diem! Seize the moment!

It looks like there is some weather expected to be moving in around mid-morning. Gusting up to 23 mph by 11. Not too sure now after checking the forecast. Will keep an eye on it and might do it still. If not, be careful out there that wind is going to kick up fast. Expect 3' waves by about 1 or 2.

So the best job in the world is a weather forecaster, here is the bay prediction for Thursday from NOAA , i don't put Any faith in anyone, but, all predictions point to a late Thursday i to friday weather change... Halloween is Thursday. Tomorrow would be better if you can make it. Should be very calm from now until 11 or 12 on Halloween. Agree that most forecasts are not that accurate for me, but been following windfinder since another member pointed me to that site. Was very accurate for me the past two weekends. At the hrbt this past Sat, calm at 9 am and 3' waves by 1 paddling out.
I won't want to paddle to far out at the bay bridge if it starts kicking up.
