  • Looking for someone to fish with

    Hey Ya'll,
I'm a sophomore at the Naval Academy, and lookin for someone to fish with. Back home I used to go fishing everyday, but now that doesn't work out so well. My favorite thing to do is fly fish rivers, but I love any kind of fishing. I used to do a lot of kayak fishing too, but my yak didn't make it up here. Here's my setup.

I'm not allowed to have a car so I can't get to any of the rivers. So looking for someone that wants a free dinner or something in exchange for driving, or just someone to fish with. I know this is mostly kayak fishermen, but figured it would be worth a shot to ask. If you're interested let me know.
By the way awesome site, a couple people recommended it to me and definitely glad I checked it out.

Well done joining the Naval Academy

My sister graduated from the Academy two years or so ago. I, myself, am an Army man, combat arms. So when are you most likely to fish? Or time of year, I should say? I have three kayaks, and have no problems letting you use one of mine if you actually want to get out and paddle again. Give me an idea of what your schedule is like and we can try to work something out. I don't fish up your way at all, but we can make a day trip to southern Maryland and see how you like that, schedules permitting, of course. On the other hand, you'll find others here I'm sure that are closer to your area and may be a little more convenient for you. We'll get'r done, no worries.
