  • Stocking up on top water lures!

I stopped by the Walmart in Severn (Off 97) last night on my way home and found that they had several boxes of Bomber, Hedon, and other top water lures on sale. They did not have price tags, but when I got the to checkout they were only $2 each!

It's been a long time since I've been to Severna, but I had a similar experience to yours at the Walmart in Waldorf. I grabbed some lures and took them to the checkout counter and they rang up at 87 cents, an obvious error on their part. But they honored it, so I went back and grabbed a handful more! This was during the summer though.

I talked to one of the clerks before I decided to buy anything. He said "most" of the lures in the boxes were items they were no longer going to stock but they didn't bother tagging them and that I would have to take them to the checkout to find out the price. He also pointed out that people would occaisionally put something in the box that didn't belong because they were too lazy to put it back in the right place. Guess I just got lucky with my selection.

In the absence of logic or deliberation, luck works just fine, my friend.

The Wal-mart in Arundel Mills has a ton of bomber soft plastics and also a nice selection of hard baits as well on clearance. All for $1! I scored 2 packs of 6.5" yum money minnows from there. If you go, it's not with the fishing stuff. You need to walk to the end of the fishing aisle and walk towards the kids sections and keep an eye on the end caps.

That stuff has been there for a while, same endcap. I think I actually posted something on here about months back. Some good deals get them while they last. I may have to make a trip back myself.

So, November Meet-n-Shop at Wal-mart, anyone? Discounted Halloween candy for lunch.

They have the same boxes of fishing stuff at the Laurel Wal-Mart if that is closer to anyone.

I hit the Laurel one up to... If memory serves me right, their clearance stuff was $2/piece. They had 2 packs of money minnows took, but someone stole the baits out the pack!! Smh
