The search continues

Went out to the susquehanna today searching for a Walleye. Still no luck. I think I'll start trying some new spots. They are in there, just have to find them. I am persistent. Did catch one smallie and two crappies today. Since my wife gave me a fish cleaning knife and board for christmas, I decided to bring the crappies home for dinner and use her present. The knife works just fine and the fillets were delicious.

Very nice. I love me some crappie. That didn't sound right

What were you using to target the walleye? The last Walleye i caught was about 15 years ago in Lake Brittle. I would love to try for them again this year.

I've been trying minnows below a bobber. Also tried twister tails. Need to find some deeper pools. With cold weather, I only go out mid day and the Walleye may be in deep pools then. Also going to try a very very slow retrieve using suspending Rap.
