There's something to be said about crystal clear water, seeing something like that following you isn't one of them. I'd probably get the kayak on plane paddling like a mad man…or pass out from fear, fall overboard and become lunch.

There are a couple of You Tube vids of Australian Hobie Kayakers having close encounters with large White Sharks...the sharks did not attack but they were curious about the kayaks and came up for a very close look see- fun to watch, but a greasy stain in the back of your pants if it were you event...
