Suggestions please for winter fishing

Hi guys, I'm hoping some go you guys can chime in on some nice fishing this time of year. I'm new to winter fishing and I'm ready to try my hand. I have my cold gear ready, kayak (ok trident) ready. I just need some advice where the fish are. Any fish will do I have the itch I need to get hooked up! Any helps appreciated, also a buddy be great as well to go with. I'm in Baltimore MD but will travel a few hours no question
