Need MKF members for Bass Pro Fishing Classic

Bass Pro Fishing Classic:

Those who have participated in the past have always had a great time talking with people about kayak fishing and it is very informal. Additionally, this year Bass Pro is combining the Boat classic and Fishing classic together so it should be pretty packed. Anyone who has been there before can post in and let the other members know about your experience at the fishing classic representing MKF. Also we will be pushing the CBKA tournament in Sept to help up the number of kayakers this year from last. (I think we had 104 last year so see if we can make it 200)

Additionally, we will try to set up for two weekends at the Bass Pro Fishing Classic. Past years has only been one but the second weekend will also be focused on HOW but will include MKF. There will be a fishing kayak set up for both weekends.

The dates will be as follows:
First weekend will be for MKF-March 1 & 2.
Second Weekend MKF and HOW March 8 & 9

This is the way it will work.
For the weekend of March 1 & 2, I will be handling scheduling, etc. PM me to let me know if you wish to represent MKF on either day and a time frame you will be there. It doesn’t matter when just whatever works for you. DaddyG –let me know if you can bring your kayak for both days or not (March 1-2).

For the second weekend March 8-9 Medicyaker will be handling scheduling, setup, etc. You can PM him to let him know if you are available and the times you can attend. You DO NOT have to know anything about HOW and can just represent MKF during this weekend if you choose. It will cover both.

I will provide handouts for the display.

I will be at this Saturdays M&G at Bass Pro if you want to talk to me there.

Keep in mind guys that the Flea Market will also be on March the 1st. Please swing by the Flea Market and support Heroes on the water and support some of your fellow Yakers selling some cool stuff. As of now we have about 5 folks from Snaggedline including the forum hosts selling the much sought after Snaggedline gear we all love and need. I'm NOT saying don't go to BassPro and support what OnTheFly is doing because what he is doing is good PR for Snaggedline and our sport of kayak Fishing. I"m simply saying try to do both... Its a WIN and a big deal for Snaggedline no matter what you do that day as long as you support your sport and friends. I will be looking for volunteers for the second weekend providing we work out the issues with the management at BassPro. Feel free to PM me if you are interested in helping me at Basspro on the dates mentioned above... March 8th and 9th. I hope to have my Kayak there so all I will need are bodies and perhaps if MOC can loan me his Laptop and the program that is on it. I'll see ya at the M&G tomorrow MOC...Saturday 10th.

I know that now... I spoke today with you and I got your pm.... To all who want to participate with me and HOW with helping Keith on the 2 nd week I am sure that Keith the HOW director can use all the help we can get. we may need a Kayak. for the display and I will post more info after I see my schedule on Monday.
