  • Possible trip to BB Friday 1/17

If the winds stay under 10mph, I might hit the BB Friday. I'll probably launch from SPSP around 9:30am to be at the rockpiles for the outgoing.

Hi chex, not trying to hijack but that's a very nice chart. Do you mind telling me what site you got it from?

What are you targeting and with what gear? I'd be interested but I have never fished up that way. I'm live down near Point Lookout.

          Stripers.

Any medium-light to medium outfit will work.
1oz-1.5oz jig head with a plastic tail (aka. bkd, bass assassin...)

Roger that, I've got plenty of that gear. Are there any nice white perch spots up there? I think there may be some holding near the bridge around Solomons.

I've never caught any white perch there in the winter, but that's not to say there aren't any. The rockpiles hold some big WP in the summer.

I might be interested in poking around with my fish finder to see if there are some spots holding some white perch.

I'm considering tomorrow but I'm not sure if the water will be too muddy from all the rain and snowmelt.

The fog was too thick this morning so I stayed home. I'm going to try Friday if the weather is decent.

I'll be putting in on KI in a tan ocean kayak. I decided to paddle out into eastern bay for 20-30 minutes this afternoon for a quick test on the fishfinder (approved). The sun came out and it was beautiful for the time I was out there.

Moc, the first step to liberation is realizing that your job is not real. It's something they created to keep you off the water. Once you achieve the enlightenment brought upon by completing Step One, steps Two through Twelve fall right into place.
