    Saw this on another forum, bet it would work trolling for rockfish. What say you?

      Yah, agreed.
      It's not much different than a small umbrella rig that I've rigged with spoons....and essentially a tony trailer. And that works, so I don't see what this wouldn't.

          I don't know what a "tony" is?

          I'd put it behind a dippsy diver early in the year, or when fish are close (15-20 feet) of the surface.
