  • Took The Plunge! Got A Yak!

Just made the purchase and waiting on delivery! Got a 2014 OK Trident 13 in urban camo. Looking forward to meeting other snaggedliners at a M&G. Pictures to come once delivered. Now to get rigging!

X2 You need to get it out on the water, and see where your hands need to go while you're paddling before you start installing things. I made the mistake of thinking I knew (too soon) and quickly found out I mounted things where the paddle strokes ran my hands/paddle into stuff.

I'll keep a lookout for the paddle strokes...didn't think of that.

Thanks for the heads up! A lot this rookie never thought of.

                assists2,

                Congrats on your purchase.

I hope that's the only plunging you do this year regarding your yak!

You're going to have lots of fun.

                Stay dry,

"urban camo"...spray paint and bullet holes?

I think we have all made the mistake of mounting something without fully realizing the implications. That's the beauty of the track systems!

Congrats! You'll enjoy it. I got my yak last year, only used it about 6 times. Was so busy getting my house ready to sell. Now, this year is kind of shaping up to the same crock of manure......... Man, I'm sick of not fishing.

                              Best Regards,
