That guy is not wrapped too tight. I've bin caught twice past the barb and was able to get them out easier then he did.

They should not have the hook turned down towards the rounded contour of the arm. The hook should be turned towards the length of the arm, or horizontal. The barb of the hook needs to be on a plane with the eye of the hook. I have used this method, and it does work. Your assistant also has to hold the eye of the hook down firmly and not let go. Ouch!

...and remember, this should only be done when a hook is imbedded into a fleshy area. If the hook is in a joint or sensitive area, go to an emergency room.
