They are probably good for kayaking. With only wearing out of the water with the chance of getting a dip. I think most dry suits are made to handle rescue and rough work type applications. They make this sound like its a dry suit make from breathable waders material.
Both the Sobek and the Enki Relief are one-piece front-entry drysuits made with 190-denier, 185 gm/m2 three-layer breathable waterproof nylon fabric. Heavy-duty wrist and neck gaskets and zippers were designed for the demanding requirements of SCUBA drysuits.
"They're basic, no-frills designs, but they're breathable, well-made, and they'll keep you dry and help protect you from hypothermia for about the price of a good wetsuit," said Holtzman. He added that selling only direct to consumers is a key factor behind Mythic Gear's ability to offer its products at essentially wholesale prices.
