  • Weekend fishing....who's going

I was just wondering who was going out fishing this weekend? I am not sure how much the rain that we are predicted to get will affect fishing on Saturday...So if you are going out, where will you go?

Friend is bugging me to go karting again saturday, but I might hit up Occoquan Reservoir or the river again sunday.. I just got my Occoquan Water League pass, which was $40 since I am in the district, and gets me unlimited roof top launches at the Reservoir, river and Mason Neck and Pohick bay.. Better then paying $4-5 every time!

We are supposed to get a ton of rain. I have to imagine that river will be shakes. I would like to go but the amount of rain is putting things in doubt.

no yaking for me. I'll be at the Trout Unlimited National Chapter anging show saturday. I know alot of you guys dont battle with the long rod, but there are some good speakers there for those who do. Flats guide Jeff Lewatowski and I will be there with Backwater Angler.

I am not sure what I am doing yet, but with 60 degrees temp on Sat, if the Winds are light then I may go out to the Rhode River, a return to Jugs Bay, Wye Mills landing is temping or I will stay home and clean out my garage and do my taxes..... choices, choices......

Not sure yet. Got honey-dos on Saturday, but Sunday might be open. I'm thinking about Wayson's Corner, St. Mary's Lake, St. Mary's River, or another perch creek. It depends on how much time I end up having. Might not be able to drive too far.

Got a hot tip on some Yellow Perch right down the road from home, hitting it Saturday AM. This rain and the gate openings have me backing off the Flats Saturday.

the flats? arent we a little early? fishing doesnt pick up there till the first week of april and even then using lures/flys is spotty at best most guys are catching them in early april on herring.

getting some rigs together for the shore, going to stay away from FSP i hear the browns are running there this weekend, maybe SPSP or the navy rec. center at greebury point. perch heads and BWs should bring them in.
