I fish the Potomac River a lot- more than any where else by a bunch- probably 80% or more of my fishing is done some where on the Potomac or its tributaries, creeks, etc. It is March of 2014...I have looked for the PRFC regulations for 2014- can't find any...so that means we can go catch anything, no size limits, no creel limits, and no requirements for a license on the mainstream of the Potomac until they publish 2014 regs, right?

Sure, just like when an item at the store doesn't have a price tag it must be free.

Everyone should believe in something... I believe I'll go fishing.

Yeah...I know...I was being "tongue in cheek" with my remarks...but seriously- it is three months into 2014...don't you think 2014 PRFC regs should be a "little more timely?"

They're still searching for wording to take everything away from rercreational fishermen and give it to the commercial fisherman

Bob- Funny you should say that...we think Maryland is dominated by commercial interests, but it is nothing like Virginia...and I wrote the PRFC an email asking them the same rhetorical question- since there are no published regs what does that mean?

I would think you'd be safe if you follow MD regs until PRFC posts something that supersedes it.

PRFC is sending me my own personal paper copy of the 2014 regs....and telling me they are working to get the website fixed with a new system-

I'm guessing the only changes will be striper start date and flounder size and creel.
