                1. Snakeheads - Minnow imitations, Fluke or spinnerbait. Guys tend to default to frogs for weedless but snakeheads eat more fish than anything.
                2. Tidal Potomac largemouth bass - wacky worm, Dinger,
                3. Upper Potomac smallmouth bass - crankbait worked on the dead stick
                4. Tidal striped bass - ratt-l-trap or Bomber jerk bait worked on the ebb tide from shallow to the channel. Action: rip, pause, rip, pause, rip
                5. Redfish - not enough experience
                6. Speckled Trout - not enough experience
                7. Bluefish - anything shiny, they are stupid and voracious.
                8. White Perch - Inline spinner, small spinnerbait or beetlespin

Not to toot my own horn, but I have caught 2 - 8 all on my Custom bucktails.

                    Haven't fished for #1. yet.

Probably not the most effective, but I have caught all of these except SM at least once on a 1/8 to 1/4oz Beetle Spin with a 2 to 3" curly tail. Even a few catfish have taken the Beetle Spin.

I have caught numbers 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 on Clouser Minnows of various color patterns. Chartreuse over white is my preference.

I have also caught croakers, bream, rock bass, catfish and fresh water pickerel on Clousers.

I think the Clouser Minnow is the most versatile and effective fly for both tidal and freshwater.

I have never caught a snakehead or redfish on any lure or fly or bait.

                          1. chatterbaits, hollow body frogs, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and a live target mouse
                          2. the same lures that catch SH + crankbaits, rubber worms, jigs w craw trailers, and jerk baits
                          3. tubes, spinners, buzzbaits, crawfish jigs
                          4. NA
                          5. NA
                          6. NA
                          7. NA
                          8. spinnerbaits etc.

                          Great topic.

                            1. Snakeheads - Surface frogs and weedless rigged white swimbait.
                            2. Tidal Potomac largemouth bass - White chatterbait or weedless rigged zoom brush hog (water melon)
                            3. Upper Potomac smallmouth bass - Chartreuse gulp curly tail on 1/8 oz painted head. Can't beat the fun of a little surface plug early in the morning
                            4. Tidal striped bass - 4" shad assassin in chartreuse or opening night on a 3/8 oz matching lead head in shallow water. Love a chug bug on top just as the sun sets till just after dark.
                            5. Redfish - Strike King's redfish magic, gold spoon and the lures listed for stripers.
                            6. Speckled Trout - 1/4 oz jighead with plastic on the hook
                            7. Bluefish - Best on small silver spoons. can't afford to feed them plastic all day
                            8. White Perch - Woody lure or a clone. Grady Black ties a nice one that I can't wait to try. Also the same jig/gulp as the SMB with a 1/2" piece of fishbite for flavor.
                            9. Croaker - Store bought shrimp on top/bottom rig with circle hooks
                            10. Blue cats - They'll eat anything, but if I'm fishing for them I use cut mullet on 6/0 circle hooks with a slip sinker

                              2. Baby Bass Senkos texas rigged, or white/gold/chartreuse buzz bait
                              3-8. Never caught
