i know hobie has patent on mirage drive, but anyone know history how they came up with that idea?

There's a picture of a penguin on my Revo logo.

Maybe their flipper action in the water was the inspiration.

pretty sure there is a dvd about the mirage drive history out there, and it was based on penguin flippers. maybe the snagged hobie fishing team members could provide more info

Only problem with that setup is that it takes two people, not bad but not practical for a soloist.
