Super tuned Reels

Any of you have any experience with super tuned reels. I see the have upgraded bearings, polished spool parts and upgraded drags. Worth the extra money?

How much more money? Is this a high end reel to start with? Or are they upgrading a lower end reel to make it better?

If it's a lower end reel, keep in mind you're not going to turn a Zebco 303 into a Shimano Stella.
