  • Fish the Northern part of the Severn River Saturday morning?

Had planned on heading out of Little Round Bay/ Round Bay on Saturday. Is it still too early? I might end up hitting my Smallmouth spot if it is.

    Thanks Gentleman!!

Water is still probably low to mid 40's. There are probably some pickerel hanging around. My guess is you won't find many WP or rock action until the water is above 50. Just a guess.

I'd check the grass out in front of Sherwood or fish structure back in the creeks.

I fished the Severn at Jonas Green Park today just to test out my new kayak; first time using one. I didn't catch any perch, but I did catch a 20inch rock near one of the private piers. Too bad its catch and release =/

I fished Weems creek on Saturday with a coworker and saw nothing. Water temp was 47 at mouth near Severn and ran up to 53 in early afternoon up near far reach of the creek.

Roadrunner 1/16 oz. curly tail, chartreuse tipped w/ bloodworm. Caught him on 6lb test on my light rod. At first I thought I hooked up with a marlin, lol.
