  • Christmas in April!!

Well....after almost a year of research (a lot of it done lurking here on Snaggedline THANK YOU) test rides, reading, internet surfing I took the plunge. I ordered my yak and all the "stuff". It's ready for pickup. The problem is I can't get to it until Friday!! I'm so freakin excited I had to tell someone. For some reason my wife doesn't share in my excitement I guess it's like when she gets new curtains?

So this is the new rig:

    -Cuda 12
    -yellow jacket
    -Seadek
    -anchor trolley (front and back)
    -rudder
    -JCrate

    -Malone trailer XT
-storage chest (sits between the tires)
    -spare tire
    -kick stand

    -NRS Chinook PFD
    -NRS pilot knife (for PFD)
    -Park n pole
    -Werner Camano Hooked paddle

This is going to be the longest week of my life!! Other than a Fish finder and fishing tackle, did I forget anything?

Congratulations! I share your enthusiasm, as I just got my new kayak and rigging equipment too. It's not a law to have one, but fish finders are nice. But I think it is is a law on the Chesapeake Bay to have a flag. And you do have to have a whistle. Good luck, and safe fishing!

I forgot I also bought the VisiCarbon Pro flag/light. I've done A LOT of research on fish finders. The more I read, the more confused I get. I'm going to wait to meet a few experienced yak fishermen to see what/how they are using. I want to buy the right unit the first time. Thanks for the reminder. I did forget the whistle? Congratulations on your new set-up. Nothing worse than having a new toy you can't play with
