If any of you guys decide to modify one of these trailers with the kit I use you will have to improvise. Installing the front crossbar adapter was not big deal but the rear one posed a bit of a challenge. Since the rear trailer crossbar was not straight, I had to buy a bar and secure it across first to be able to add the kayak crossbar. This is when you will have to get creative. If you need a closer look at what I did let me know and I will send you a closer picture.

Here are the pictures of the rear side of the trailer. I got the bar from this site http://www.discountsteel.com/items/G...quare_Tube.cfm

How much clearance is there between the Malone crossbar and your bottom cross bar?

Is about 20 inches. Thinking about adding a storage box or something like that in the future
