New Prowler 15

Well I picked up a new Sky blue Prowler 15 today.
It's a left over and I wasn't crazy about the color but I couldn't pass it up for $520.00

I am going to keep this one simple. It will be my long distance touring/camping and fishing boat. It just takes to long to get anywhere far away in my other yaks.
When I had the LL Manta Ray 14 I was always the first to the fishing hole but I became tired of all of the turtles I had in that boat. It's the easiest boat I ever had to turn over. With the Big game or the Ride 135 I'm not last but I am in the back of the pack if I use the Kingfisher I am the last one there...



I will add a compass, depth finder/Gps, some deck bungee cords, a 6" hatch in front of the seat. Since I already have the matching mike crate I will add the rod holder to the crate along with a shower radio and a few other items. I already had the seat but sometime this season I will change it to the Surf to summit GTS expedition seat.

hum, baby blue, i guess you will get used to it, JK nice ride. damn you can start your own yak rental business with all those yaks. want to sell the ride? i want something to stand and fish in?

Looking good there. I actually dig the baby blue, it'd be my second choice over orange though. Those 15s are very capable and from what I hear quick and easy to maintain speed.

I was going to get that revo TJ got and my dad said he would buy it. I dont need 4 kayaks... I may find a revo or wait till end of the summer. I'm out for sat, signed up with captain pete...

Plastic- what are you thinking as far as rod holders up front? I like my rod pod but it does limit things a bit.

I like it! The blue is nice. I just put a GTS Expedition seat in my Prowler 13 Angler. It is a nice seat.

I don't use the front rod holders much on my other kayaks they just seam to be in the way when I fishing. I am thinking that I might mount a scotty rod holder to a cutting board that will fit the area between my knees where a tackle box goes that way I can remove it quickly.
