My Mom and my wife both love to fish. Mom and Dad fish when ever they can...I always send the folks pictures. Would be nice to get my wife on some fish...need to get her a kayak too.

I kind of figured Mattawoman is packed on the weekends and was going to try that on a workday, but I could be wrong. Its 90 miles each way for me so I don't want it to be a wasted effort!

Yes Mattawoman is gonna be packed Saturday morning. You can bet on it. I would like to fish somewhere that has been fishing well, and I don;t know about any in particular as yet.

If you ever go to Mattawoman and want to avoid the crowds launch at the top of the creek by small bridge on 225. Plus you'll have a better chance of catching a snakehead.
