Kayaker missing - lower Potomac

It's a sad thing regardless, but I hope this wasn't someone we knew. The river is probably 7 or 8 miles across at this point.

When I stopped for coffee on my way to St. Mary's County this morning I heard on the radio they found the guy's kayak, but I did not hear they called off the search. Definitely very sad. The current was still ripping from all that rain and it was still blowing quite a bit harder than I expected. I can only imagine what it was like when he went missing.

A coworker is related to the guy. Apparently he has 2 infant children.
