Snaggedline demo at River Fest 2014 Shady Side MD 6/14/14?

Hello all,

The West Rhode Riverkeeper is having the first ever River Fest at Discovery Village in Shady Side, MD, on Saturday, June 14, 2014. They are looking for ways to get people involved with the water by getting them out on the water. Would Snaggedline please help with this by showing people how to rig a fishing kayak and how to fish from a kayak during the festival?

Jeff Holland, the new Riverkeeper, would like to include kayak fishing in the festival. I told him I would contact Snaggedline and see if you guys were interested. It's a great place to share your sport with new people and the community would really appreciate it. Backyard Boats is just around the corner from Discovery Village.

I know June 14th is also your Meet and Greet, so there is a conflict for some of you. I know they'd appreciate any help you can provide. Please pm me or email Jeff directly at jeff AT westrhoderiverkeeper DOT org.

It will be. Food, music, water, what could be better? The Riverkeeper is also reviving the "Blessing of the Fleet" tradition. The workboats are going to parade into the cove and get blessed.
