        They are very good maps. That is what I was talking about on the GPS/FF thread. Garmin GPS units have what looks like those NOAA maps right on the GPS map system. The contour lines are almost the same. The colors are almost the same. I am seriously looking at those units. The NOAA maps are very good, as I have scoped out the South River and other areas that I have fished for years. The Garmin units are almost like taking the maps with you. As you move, your position is centered on the screen. You can just move along those contour lines. I think that would be more beneficial than the side scan sonar, as far as bay or ocean fishing goes.

        I have chart 12270 framed and hanging over the fireplace in the family room.
