I caught a very large SH in the open water near a dock in the Smallwood launch section of Mattawoman last May. I have only landed 1 other since then and I try every time I go out. I have heard stories of people collecting hundreds of pounds of these fish. I wonder if they are selling them to local dining establishments as there is no way to collect hundreds of pounds of fish night after night and still "need" more. I know the state has said to eradicate them, but all this mass harvesting and DNR shock water treatments has left little for the weekend angler to enjoy. This is my opinion and I am not telling anyone what to do. Just wish there was a daily limit imposed to make it enjoyable for the rest of the anglers who want to hook into one of these toothy monsters.

I don't want a full cooler or anything, maybe 3-5 per trip would be nice
