I think that this incident is isolated to this individual solely. I don't think in any way this affects the Kayaking community. There has been so many positive things we have done as a community that our standing has not been affected. This individual just happened to be in a kayak when he did this to himself.

Yes the poor guy has a few loose screws I don't think it has anything to do with kayaking or kayakers.

Hey Scorpioreno.....I agree with you 100%. My thoughts are that God forbid one of us has a true emergency out on the water that the public doesn't see it as a "cry wolf" scenario. I doubt that 99.9% would, but it's the .1% that worries me.
