  • ProAngler Versus Revo - Would you go back?

Question for ProAngler owners - Have you any serious regrets? Wish you had gotten a Revo/Outback instead?

My wife has essentially acquiesed on purchasing the ProAngler but probably can't buy a pickup or SUV for another year or two. Will have to car top the beast. But would have to do the same thing with a Revo.

I do love the fishing features and think it will make a bangup bass boat and I look forward to some striper fishing with the gang.

That seems like a lot of weight on a car roof. Ontop of that, I wouldn't want to load 138# on to a car roof.

You'll figure out how to get it on the roof .......... THe roof of my SUV was alot taller and that was the problem ..........

Whoa buddy, you already got the wife to go along with the Pro-Angler. Don't go for less. You have already gone through most of the effort. You can upgrade later, to a SUV or to a P/U. I am a P/U guy myself. Real men need a P/U anyway. However, that is a discussion for another time. The Pro-Angler is a sweet boat. If you are not that old, you can load the kayak. I used to load a 16' Gheenoe on top of my P/U years ago when I was a duck hunter.

I'm 6'1", 208lbs and cartop a Revo no problem. The PA is a boat. Not a kayak!

Sorry guys, someone had to say it! Oh wait! Dogfish already did:

Go electric, you'll never look back, except at those without an electric motor.
