Going to try live lining again at the bridge tomorrow. This time bringing a spot alternative... come join the fun

Seems the striper just aren't at the bridge yet... I tried live lining black salties but no luck and didn't mark anything. No one else seemed to be doing any good either.

Good news is, the spots are there in front of the beach. I caught 15 quickly when I finally found them. Bad news is, they were all too big for live lining... Oh well sammmmmich!

What's a "salty"?

Basically a goldfish strain of baitfish that's hardy in saltwater. They're used in Ocean City by some people for Doormat flounder

Clyde's sport shop in Halethorp, MD carries them. This was the first time I've tried them for Striper, but I've caught big flathead catfish with them.

I'm going to try them for live lining again once the fish get to the bridge...

Hit the bay bridge at 0600 to0900 before work with my nephew this morning caught 2 spot both to big to live line and a bunch of white perch up to 11 inches live lined a white perch with no takers and jigged the columns no stripres to be found.

Ditto on the lack of success this weekend at the BB. The FF showed alot of fish holding around the pilings, but darn if I could get anything to bite. I spoke to 3 gents who were in a skiff that were hopping from piling to piling and they claimed that they had limited out. The one guy jigging looked like he had a football jig head with a white curly tail.
