For those COSTCO members out there, they sell a flex bag cooler so that you can take your cold food home. see http://www.amazon.com/Costco-Kirklan.../dp/B00D0VP16Y which is $20, but I bought one at the store for $10.

My wife got me the Polar Bear 24 can for Fathers day...wow this thing is awesome; great quality! So far just using it for beach trips and road trips but so far so good. I'm not sure I'd want to use it in the back of the yak all the time though with the textile, but who knows, it seems like it'll hold up to just about anything.

I use the soft cooler from costco. Been using them on the kayak for years and they work fine for me.

I grabbed the one from Wegman's over the weekend, and it's exactly what I wanted. I'm impressed with the quality for just a few dollars. I got the middle size. I figured the large size was a lot of volume to keep cool after seeing it in person. Thanks guys.

Alan ......... Use all those royalties and buy yourself a Polar Bear ..........if you can wait till Christmas , they usually go on sale for 50 % off ........ I have at least 5 different types and the polar bear is the best .... They use to embroider your name on it too

I've used all 3 sizes on the yak. I had the 12 can out with me today. When I had to carry all the waters and sodas for an outing, it's kind of funny putting a fully loaded 12 can on the back of the yak. Between the drinks and ice, that thing weighed a LOT!
