I meant to put this in Main Forum but swung and missed, put it in Freshwater Fishing:
My name is Mike, I guess that is pretty obvious. I am new to your forum. It looks like you have a bunch of people willing to share information and get together to go fishing.
I started kayak fishing 12 years ago when I lived in Long Island, NY. Moved back to MD in 2005. Most of my fishing here has been on the tidal Potomac and tributaries. Have been up to Lander, Shepherdstown and Snyder's Landing a few times. Love catching smallmouth. Recently fished the Susquehanna above Harrisburg and want to do that again. I would really be interested in anyone who wouldn't mind a tagalong on the Rapp for smallmouth.
I live a mile from the Patuxent and we fish down the end of our road for croaker from time to time. Just bought Yak Fish's trolling book and would like to do some Bay stuff for stripers too.
Anyhow looking forward to learning more and sharing ideas with other kayak fisherman.
