  • What size sinker do you guys normally use?

I'm thinking of ordering some sinker online. I usually use 1-3 oz bank sinker for bottom fishing. What do you guys use to fish at inner/outer wall? And what size egg sinker do you use for live lining the bay bridge?

    Thanks

2-5 oz bank or cannon ball is good usually for chsp. I use 1/2 - 1 oz egg for live lining

For live lining I use 1/2 oz egg, unless the current is wicked, then I go heavier.

Maybe that's why I've been unsuccessful live lining. I'm not using any sinker.

As for bottom fishing, it depends.... if I'm drifting I will use between 1-2 oz bank sinker... if anchored, I'll switch that to a pyramid style.
If I'm in strong current I'll move up to 4oz, but I rarely bottom fish in strong current.
