Have not tried standing yet. Maybe tomorrow on way back in at cbbt. Also want to try self rescue to see if bar is in the way.

    That's a nice idea.

Have you tried standing on the outback yet?

Aluminum bar. I melted the fittings and secured with stainless self tapping screws. I wish I could get the bar about 2" lower, but that was the best I could do with what was available.

What is the actual rail part? Doesn't look like pvc

It is actually only slightly higher than h rail on pro angler. I liked the h rail idea and thought why not try to build one since I already wanted a place to mount stuff without drilling too much. If it does not work out, I am only out a hundred bucks and a couple hours of work. I already had the aluminum bar from another project, so way less a hundred in parts. am making it so it can be removed for transport in about 1 minute. Added a visicarbon mount also. 20141002_131727-655768981.jpg

You can put a measuring sticker on that aluminum tubing to use as a quick reference.

Let us know how entry is as well. From a dock wouldn't be a problem, wonder if it would from a couple feet or more in the water.

Should be fine. I just need to remeblmber to set drag right. If it does not work out, easy to remove. I think it should be good...going to test at cbbt tomorrow. Turbos and large rudder installed as well.

Almost done with my diy setup. Need some more hardware for front powerlocks on extenders.
