I haven't fish the Shenandoah in years and I'm not sure what part of the 'Doah you want to fish... but we used to launch our canoe at the east side of the Rt 7 bridge. A gravel road takes you right under the bridge. Plenty of parking.

I think it might have been me. I met two guys that were going up and down over at Mattingly Ave Park area.. over the weekend and talked to them about the website. I hope that was you. All I caught was bass up and down the creek. Anyways welcome aboard. I hope we can meet up sometime. I'm from Texas myself and found this to be a great passion for me as well. I might be heading to Sandy Point (Bay Bridge) or Jonas Green (Severn River). I will be headed there Sunday August 17th. Hope to see you.
