Im from Texas but daughter lives in Maryland and Mother in law in Virginia. I kayak and wade for trout and when I come to visit my daughter and Mother in law I will be bringing the yak. Would like to learn the area.

Gaithersburg I would look at little Seneca lake and triadelphia. Triadelphia resovoir is a $5 daily fee.
