Best tide?

I know slack tide is least productive, but what is your most productive part of the tide? Incoming or outgoing? Middle of a big swing?

Here at Chesapeake Beach, I don't have enough data to go on yet. But so far it has been big swing inbound tides. That could be coincidence, I only have about 4 months and 36 fishing trips of data right now. I am hoping to have a couple hundred by this time next year to go off.

That's about 32 more trips on the bay than I have so far. Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure Alan mentioned it in his book, but I need to go back and review that section.

Compared to a lot of the guys on this forum, I'm sure 36 trips isn't much. I'm a bit of a data hoarder, and like to have a wide spread of numbers to work with. Mine are all from a very short range of time.
