Also jigging bridge, live lining perch, trolling

Between the two of us we'll try it all

      I'll be trying similar presentations.

I've never fished up there where you're going. Between the two groups (in this thread), hopefully we'll find the fish.

Sounds good, I haven't tried live lining yet, but have a couple rigs tied up. I've got a couple spoons also.

Looking at the map (http://www.charts.noaa.gov/PDFs/12282.pdf), I've got some ideas for trolling, and maybe a place or two for catching spot.

            Thoughts?

That's one of the places I was looking at on the map for them. For trolling, I was thinking about the "ledge" that runs up/along where it goes 7' to 23' north of the bridge, or the drop off in the same depth change south of it.

You can also catch spots next to pilings in the same depth range.

I'm not going to lie...I completely over looked that.

Pretty slow day again, but better than being at work! I ended up getting a short 17 1/2" striper, trolling a jig with a 4" Z-Man paddle tail in electric chicken.

Peggy started of quick with a short striper:

Water was really flat toward the end, it was calm (waves a foot or less) at the start.
SPSP Light house in the distance:

Kahn was the big winner with a 25" striper:

Nice works guys. I launced my center console from Sandy Pt at 8:15. I did not see you as I was coming or leaving the park.

That 25" fish is a beauty.

We might have moved on to trolling north of the bridge along the beach by then. We fished the pilings just out from the end of the "pier" in 8-10 feet of water at the start, but couldn't find ANY spot.

I was so happy to see a big boy. He inhaled the white perch and start to wrap himself around the pilings, I had to take all my rods down and paddle through. It was all worth it though, I take one look at him and I was like "Yea, you're legal." There was no need to measure him
