Hi guys, I'm new to the Millersville area and I was wondering if anyone from this area could tell me some places to bass fish close by. I'd like to bank fish some ponds and kayak some spots also. Any comments are appreciated

I grew up in Millersville and haven't fished these places in a long time but for largemouth bank fishing opportunities, try both Kinder Farm Park and Lake Waterford. They are both relatively close to each other, off Jumpers Hole Rd. I can't think of any places nearby where you can fish for bass from a kayak.2014 Hobie Pro Angler

Run down 3 to Upper Marlboro and launch at Jug Bay. Also may want to try running up to Centennial Lake in Howard County. Rt 100w to Rt 29s to 103 W I think. Get your Maryland Freshwater license and Bay license. Will need Fresh for Centenial and Ttidal/Bay for Jug Bay Pax River. Link to current thread on Jug Bay below.

If you dont go, you wont know, and you got to have bait in the water.
