Good day, partly sunny. Was on the water 0730 hrs.
Did the usual; jigged a tandem rig with white bucktail and Gulp around the canal and inlet. Around 0830 hrs during low tide, I got a good pull from a feisty fish. Wondered what it was. I had to adjust the drag. It turned out to be a good size flattie. I didn’t know if it was a flounder because all my past flounder catches weren’t that big; so I never experienced a good fight from a good size flounder before.
Caught:
1 toad
1 croaker
1 short flounder
1 keeper flounder (22”, my biggest flattie yet)
