Fish ID Help

Caught this guy in the bay this morning. I thought it was a juvenile snakehead but it has a pointed nose. Anyone know what it is?

I caught one of those in FL last December on a Clouser Minnow. I didn't know what it was either at the time until my guide told me. It was about 12 to 14 inches. I recall that it was a heavy fish for its size and gave a good pull.
